TWELVE Little Monkeys!

Today, Dr. Perloe measured twelve little monkeys in there - 8 on the right still and 4 on the left! Way to go, Lefty! Catchin' up!

I'm markedly more uncomfortable (clothes-wise) today than I have been. It's completely normal & a good sign. I'm taking to wearing loose pants and loose dresses. Dr. Perloe said that everything looks great, so that's good, but we're not sure that Friday is going to be the day. We're just going to keep plugging along, praying for the little Monkeys & hoping that we can get some good news as we progress.

This is so cool!

The Back Story

Brett and I have been married since November 2004. We met when we were 19, gave it an early try (but it didn't work out) and started dating (for real, this time) in 2001 when I moved back here from New Orleans.

I was diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovaries) in late 2001. When we decided to start trying to conceive (TTC) in 2005, we knew it was going to be difficult. Our biggest clue was that my doctor put us on Clomid from the start. We haven't ever had a very hard time getting pregnant. We've been pregnant 6 times! With the exception of the most recent loss, they've all been at 7 weeks or earlier. Two of our losses were even before the doctor could confirm the pregnancies! Our last pregnancy lasted until the 10th week. This time, we were under the care of a specialist. He was able to get some answers about our losses.

We began our first round of in vitro treatments in April.

This is the story of how we're going to get our Miracle Baby.
