Day 3 CGH

Brett talked with the woman at Reprogenetics. The Day 3 CGH test is so new, they don't even have the machines set up to do that test! That made our decision very easy and we will not be having that test done. We will go through with the Day 3 PGD testing, which is what our original plan was.

I'm waiting for Sheila to call me back in re: some questions I had about the Shots & Other. Hmmm... Thursday's going to come awfully quickly & I need answers!

Getting nervous about the shots... But like Connie & I decided today, there are times when you suck it up and do what you need to do in order to get something wonderful on the other side.

Cling to the Hope....you are not alone, and we are praying for you!! You and connie are wise and right....cling to that, even when nerves come!

The Back Story

Brett and I have been married since November 2004. We met when we were 19, gave it an early try (but it didn't work out) and started dating (for real, this time) in 2001 when I moved back here from New Orleans.

I was diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovaries) in late 2001. When we decided to start trying to conceive (TTC) in 2005, we knew it was going to be difficult. Our biggest clue was that my doctor put us on Clomid from the start. We haven't ever had a very hard time getting pregnant. We've been pregnant 6 times! With the exception of the most recent loss, they've all been at 7 weeks or earlier. Two of our losses were even before the doctor could confirm the pregnancies! Our last pregnancy lasted until the 10th week. This time, we were under the care of a specialist. He was able to get some answers about our losses.

We began our first round of in vitro treatments in April.

This is the story of how we're going to get our Miracle Baby.
